On Saturday, the 4th
of November 2017, we arrived at the airport in Pescara, Italy. We received a
warm welcome when our hostfamilies picked us up form the airport. After that
everyone drove to their hostfamilies and in the evening they showed us the
city. We spent the next day with our hostfamilies.
The programme started
on Monday. First of all we met all Erasmus + participants at the school „Liceo
Marconi Pescara“ and introduced ourselves. During the welcoming a group of
students performed classical music and other students danced to some songs. Afterwards
we discussed the whole programme for the week and did some „ice-breaking“
games. In the afternoon we visited Pescara.
On Tuesday we visited
two museums, the „Museo delle Genti D’Abruzzo“(ethnological museum) and the
„Casa di D’Annunzio“ (birthplace of D’Annunzio). In the afternoon we
participated in a treasure hunt. In the evening we met all participating
students in a restaurant and had dinner together.
OnWednesday morning we
met at the bussstation in Pescara and drove all together to a pasta manufacturer.
We had a guided tour and a subsequent powerpoint presentation at „Pastificio De
Cecco“. Afterwards we all ate in the canteen. After that we saw the spring „Gole
di San Martino“ from which the pastafactory receives the water. There we had
the chance to take pictures. In the evening we all ate together.
On Thursday we
visited the space flight service company „Telespazio“ and also had a guided
tour. There the satellites shot in orbit are monitored. After the tour we took
the bus and the next stop was a famous castle named „Castello Piccolomini“. On
our way back to Pescara our bus had a breakdown and we had to wait almost two
hours for the replacement bus. When we arrived back at school, we celebrated
the „farewell dinner“. Some participants showed us the traditional dances from
their countries.
On Friday, the last
day, we participated in the workshop „cinema passion“.There we were informed
about how to shoot a film. Then we were divided into three groups and tried to
fulfill the criteria. Afterwards we said goodbye to all the teachers and went
shopping in the mall „Megalo centre“. In the evening everybody met at Estelas
host sisters house. We ate together and then said goodbye to everyone.
